I LOVE Sheila Rae, the Brave!!! My son is now fourteen, so this was long ago, but when computer picture book software was relatively new, he and I would "read" the story over and over again on my computer, while he sat in my lap. There were many interactive elements which encouraged a more more in-depth interest in the reading experience. The genius of Kevin Henkes and Sheila the Rae is infectious. These memories still fondly remain ensconced in both me and my son's childhood moments.
