The art is by the San Artists of the Kuru Art Project in Botswana, an effort to help support the people of southern Africa as they cope with the encroachment of the modern world. The author's proceeds from the book will go to support this organization. This is an original story in a folktale tradition that encourages one to find their voice. A beautiful and special book.
